A haunting can consist of many things. Feeling like someone is around you, feelings of being watched, scratching or knocking sounds, feelings of being touched, unexplained sounds of footsteps, voices that whisper or call you by name. Some have witnessed visible manifestations that include moving lights, shadows, orbs on film and apparitions that can quickly appear and just as quickly disappear. Many different types of odors ranging from the sweet smell of flowers to foul have also been reported.

Our group was founded in 1994 by Corey Seahorn and Kyle Pugh under the name North Alabama Paranormal Explorers Association. As we gained more experience and our group grew we obtained many certifications and the name was changed to N.A.P.I.A.
